It took until the second half for Exeter under 17s to take control of the game against Newton Abbot with some sloppy passing to blame. There were some good individual performances but it wasn’t until the 3rd quarter they started to come together as a team.
Freddie Herring and Cam Sydenham had good debuts and Amy Potter, Guy Geeson, Toby Eve and Jack Cutting provided a strong backbone for others to build on. In the end it was a deserved 8-4 win.
