Exeter Playing in British Water Polo League in Devon (Plymouth)!

Many of you will be broadly aware of Exeter’s senior men playing in the British Water Polo League Division 2 – this places us in the top 16 Clubs in the Country, and the Team usually travel far and wide (Sheffield, Lancaster, Manchester, London) to play their matches.

Well this year and for the first time the Team have the luxury of playing in Devon, at the Life Centre in Plymouth on the 4^th and 5^th November 2017.

Saturday 4^th Nov           13:40    Croydon v Exeter

Sunday 5^th Nov             10:10    Welsh Wanderers (pretty much the Welsh national team) v Exeter

13:40    Bristol v Exeter

There will be no training for Exeter Club members on the 5^th November due to Bonfire Night / Tar Barrel celebrations in Ottery St Mary etc.

It would be much appreciated if as many people (whether no connection to the sport or Club members and their families) could come and support the team – many of the Club players or other recipients of this email will know some of the Exeter Team, and it is the highest level Water Polo to have been played in Devon for decades. So far as I am aware there is no charge for entry to spectate. There are other matches ongoing throughout the day in case you wished to watch other matches perhaps interspaced with spending some other time in and around Plymouth (National Marine Aquarium / The Hoe / Plymouth Gin Distillery etc) – full list of fixtures below.  If you have any other questions please do not hesitate in contacting me!
